Following the path blazed by the YAK and Edge, the AirfoilZ Extra 260 can fly in 15-20+ MPH winds, and excels in both 3-D and IMAC style flying. The fuselage uses a hybrid construction consisting of a foam skin with a lite-ply crutch assembly. This construction results in a lightweight, extremely RIDGED, no twist design. The wing uses our proven folded depron skin, balsa "I beam" spar, design. The plane comes as a kit with laser cut parts that are designed to interlock together for proper alignment. The fuselage usually takes less than 1 1/2 hours to assemble. The plane uses two servos for the ailerons and one each for the elevator and rudder.
New for the Extra 260 is a pull-pull rudder set-up.
The kit comes complete with hardware and decals (horns, linkages, hinges, wheels, undercarriage, tail skid)

For maximum 3D performance, we recommend an AXi 227/16, with a 3-cell LiPo of approximately 1300-2200mAh and a 10×4.7 slow-fly propeller.

I went with the recommended power for my extra and it is ballistic. I think this will become my new favourite model
It's probably easier if you apply the fuselage side stickers before installing the elevator servo and the rudder pull/pull system, because you have to cut around them otherwise!
