The Bantam BC8HP "E-Station" battery charger is a high-power 280-watt charging station for 11-18V DC input power, capable of charging and balancing 1-8 cell Li-Poly batteries and 2-36V lead-acid packs. This BC8 High-Power battery charger has a maximum charge current of 12A and can discharge at up to 7A.
The BC8HP accepts various types of lithium-based batteries for charging, such as Li-Po, Li-Io and LiFe/A123. You can also take care of your lithium based batteries using the BC8's built-in fast charge and storage modes, to keep your packs in top condition.
The BC8HP also supports cycling through charge/discharge and discharge/charge cycles, to allow balancing and breaking-in of your batteries.
For your convenience, the Bantam BC8-HP allows up to 10 batteries' parameters to be stored and recalled. To save you time when charging your various battery packs, just recall the appropriate memory and begin charging and balancing your selected pack.
The Bantam BC8HP battery charger is firmware upgradeable. By connecting the BC8HP to your PC using the included USB cable, you can update the firmware of the unit as and when upgrades become available. See bantamtek.com for information.
