Power system for Carden Edition Yak 54

This combo is comprised of the following items:-

• 1 x APC 22x10 Thin Electric Propeller
• 1 x Jeti Advance 90 Pro Opto
• 1 x AXi 5345 HD/14

This is our recommended power system for the Hangar 9 Yak 54 (Carden Edition 89"). This is the same setup we fly with our own Yak 54.

This combo includes the motor, speed controller and propeller for 3D flying.

This setup requires a 10s (or two 5s connected in series) battery. Some people also use this motor with a 12s setup. In this configuration, please use the Jeti Spin 125 Opto controller.

We use a custom-made plywood motor mount for mounting and a shiny aluminium spinner to finish off. The model balances with two 5500mah 5s batteries slightly rear of the foremost former and a single 2300mAh 2s A123 pack in front of the wing joining tube. No additional weight is required to balance the model.
