The Elektro Rookie from Graupner including motor and speed controller, is an ideal trainer or general hack for fine-weather flying. The model is fabricated from Graupners SolidPor® high-density foam and features a two-piece wing with carbon-fibre spar and a removeable tailplane. All decals are included along with detailed build instructions. This is the rudder/elevator version – for the Rookie with ailerons, please check the Graupner Rookie with ailerons.
Uniquely, Graupner also include a login ticket with the kit for their Visual Instruction Tool (VIT) which provides you with a username and password to access a website containing language neutral video clips of the build process.
For 3-channel radio: Rudder, Elevator and Throttle and 2-cell ~2500mAh Li-Poly battery.
Graupner recommend their C-231 analog servo for rudder and elevator control, which is available from us and is a perfect fit in the Rookie. The 7.4V 2,500mAh 2-cell Graupner Li-Poly battery is also recommended and fits the model nicely, whilst providing more than reasonable flight times. The battery is also available from us. Hitec HS-65MG or HS-65HB servos can also be used if you have these.
