RegMax is a dual-input voltage booster for 1-cell LiPo or LiFePO4 cells or 3-4 NiMh input, which provides a 5.5V output at up to 4 amps (3 amps constant).
On the input side, the dual-inputs feature Deans Micro connectors and the opposite plugs are included for your cells. The dual-output wires feature standard JR connectors, to be connected to your receiver.
As a result of the dual-input provision, connecting a single cell of 2300mAh capacity to each input actually gives a capacity of 4600mAh. Compare this to using a single 2-cell LiFePO4 battery pack or similar 2-cell Li-Poly battery and it affords a fantastic weight saving in terms of capacity. Ideal for small models or narrow fuselages of F3B, F3F and F3J models where space is at a premium.
We recommend two A123 2300mAh LiFePO4 cells (or two of the 1100mAh size cells) as below: -
