The MULi 6s voltage sensor from Jeti is a telemetry sensor used to measure the voltage of up to 6-cell LiPo batteries and provide realtime or historical feedback of individual cell voltages and overall pack voltage. Can be used stand-alone with the Jeti Box, or for realtime monitoring of your battery and its individual cells with your Duplex 2.4EX radio controlled setup.
By connecting the JR lead directly to the Jeti Box, the MULi6s can be used directly as a voltage sensor. For this setup the Jeti Box must be powered by a suitable 5-8.4V power source.
Alternatively the sensor can be connected to your radio system either via your Duplex receiver or Expander E4, for realtime feedback of overall pack or individual cell voltages. With this RC setup, an audible alarm may be configured for low-voltage by specifying the minimum cell voltage via the Jeti Box.
In all cases, the battery pack must be connected to the balance port connectors on the MULi6s, noting the correct polarity.
Important: Order of connection: -
– Connect the sensor to your lithium-based battery via the balance connector (Please note correct polarity)
– Connect the sensor to the receiver or expander
– Connect negative battery terminal to negative ESC/BEC terminal
– Connect positive battery terminal to positive ESC/BEC terminal
Note: If you are using the sensor in stand-alone mode with the Jeti Box and you wish to swap the battery being monitored, please first disconnect the power supply from the Jeti Box. This ensures that the unit resets correctly and detects the new cell-count.
JST-XH balance tap connections are directly supported, as are JST-EH. Due to pin-spacing, FlightPower/ThunderPower batteries are not directly compatible and an appropriate balance adaptor must be used. Hyperion balance tap connections are only compatible when using 4,5 and 6s packs, due to the blank pin of 2 and 3s packs (To convert 2s and 3s Hyperion packs (JST-PQ type connector), use PQ-CT02XH and for 3-cell packs use PQ-CT03XH)
The receiver/ext. cable of the MuLi 6s telemetry sensor extends approximately 280mm from the MULi6s sensor, allowing for plenty of mounting options in your model.
