Jeti Duplex 2.4EX RSAT2 Satellite Receiver

Duplex 2.4EX RSAT2 Satellite receiver for use with Jeti Duplex receivers R9, R10, R11, R12, R14 and R18. RSAT2 is fully programmable from the Jeti Box and offers an increase in range over the older RSAT satellite receiver.

Typical usage is in larger models 30cc and above. Some configuration is required, which is outlined as follows: -

• Perform pairing procedure for all receivers and satellite receivers.
• Set the satellite receiver to Clone mode.
• Set the satellite receiver PPM Output mode to Direct
• Connect the satellite receiver to the SAT1/SAT2 socket of your master receiver.
• In the Out Pin Set menu of your master receiver, choose SAT1 or SAT2 appropriately.
• Set the mode to PPM Input
• The PPM Alarm code can be set to warn of signal loss from the satellite receiver by choosing the desired letter of the alphabet.

It is recommend that the antennae be installed perpendicular to each other (and perpendicular to the antennae of your existing receiver installation) and the radius of any bends in the antennae cable be greater than 10mm. We recommend for alarm signals that two letters be chosen to provide a similar alarm with an appropriate number of beeps corresponding to the particular SAT input – e.g. A for SAT1 (dot dash) and W (dot dash dash) for SAT2. Or N (dash dot) for SAT1 and D (dash dot dot) for SAT2. Please choose the alarm code according to your own preference.

The most common setup error is to forget that the sallelite receiver must be paired with the transmitter, as with any Duplex receiver.
