The Jeti Spin Pro 300 opto is a controller for brushless motors supporting up to 220 amps continuous current and 6-14 Li-Poly cells.
This speed controller can be programmed using the Jeti Box. Two JR connectors are provided to aid this connection when the controller is installed in your model. The JR connector with the black plug, should be connected to your receiver. The JR connector with the red plug, can be connected to your Jeti Box when required. Please note that your receiver power-supply should be switched off before and during connection of this controller to the Jeti Box.
As with all Spin controllers, the Jeti Spin 300 is fully programmable from the Jeti Box (available separately), allowing programming of Brake, RPM, Heli-mode, number of motor poles, timing, frequency, acceleration, battery type and cut-off voltages. Preset configurations can be programmed directly from your transmitter, but for fine control of all options, we recommend using the Jeti Box for simplicity.
The Spin 300 features an anti-spark wire. When connecting the controller to your flight battery pack, first connect the 4mm negative/black wires, followed by the small red anti-spark wire and finally the 4mm positive/red wires.
Because the Spin 300 is an opto type controller, it does not provide power to your receiver and servos. For this purpose, we recommend using a stabilised power-supply via a voltage regulator such as the Jeti Max BEC range. For maximum control, use the Jeti Max BEC 2D.
The Jeti Spin 300 controller includes the following accessories: -
