Jeti Spin brushless controllers are among the most sophisticated speed controllers available, offering a number of advanced features on top of the reliability and simplicity found in all Jeti products. All SPIN controllers, apart from those denoted as opto type, are fitted with a 5.5V switching BEC, which provides a smooth power supply to your receiver and servos and allows the use of more servo's than the usual linear BEC built-in to other speed controllers. Due to this, Spin controllers can also provide power to your receiver when using higher cell counts. For example the Spin 55 can still provide power to your radio gear even when using an 8-cell LiPo for your flight pack.
These controllers are JBC (Jeti Box Compatible). The Jeti Box is a small device with a display, which allows fine tuning of your Spin controller and reading of data recorded within the controller after a flight. The Jeti Box can also be used as a servo cycler and to monitor the output from any sensors connected to the Jeti Duplex 2.4GHz radio system.
During Flight, Spin controllers automatically record various parameters of your power system, such as minimum/maximum controller temperature, RPM and current draw. These values can be viewed on the Jeti Box after a Flight and are particular useful when tweaking your electric power system for the best configuration.
