New version!
The Bantam two-meter is a sophisticated electronic device that is controlled by a high-performance microprocessor and resistors. The two-meter includes an adapter board for JST-PQ type balance taps for Hyperion type balance connectors.
The Two-meter has 4 functions: -
– Watt Meter: The watt-meter circuit can measure the electric current of your power system up to 100 amps. This enables you to verify the power consumption of your power system and ensure you are not over dis-charging your battery pack or exceeding the maximum load capacity of your motor or speed controller.
– Battery checker: The Two-meter can show you the voltage and residual capacity of your lithium battery pack by checking the individual voltage of each cell.
– Integrated self-balancer: Two-meter has an integrated self-balancing circuit which is self-operative without linking to a charger. When you connect a battery pack to the individual port of the device, balancing will commence instantly. In this case the individual cell voltages will be equalised to the lowest cell voltage of the battery pack.
– Servo tester
Two-Meter now has an integrated servo driver to test your servos. A separate Rx type pack is required in order to provide the power for this, which should be connected through a Y-harness. Please note the Y-lead is not included. In addition to this a separate 7.2V battery is required to power the Two-meter itself. Therefore 2 batteries are required to use the servo test function.
The Two-Meter is ideal for electric flyers to ensure safe battery operation and to measure the power consumption of your power system (up to 100 amps). The built-in cell balancer can equalize the voltage of each cell in your battery pack upto 6s.
The Bantam Two-meter can handle all types of Lithium batteries (LiPo, LiIo, LiFePO4/A123) consisting of up to 6 series-wired cells. The only requirement is that your battery pack must have a balancing plug for checking individual cell voltages. If your pack uses a different connector type other than JST-XH, please purchase the appropriate balance board.

Essential Piece of Kit for Electric Flyers. - By Steve Collins
I purchased the Bantam Two some weeks ago and should had done so a long time ago. As an Engineer by trade, I have been looking for an accurate tool for my hobby of Electric Flight.
This unit ticks all the boxes!
