The AXi 4120/14 Gold Line brushless motor is suitable for large sailplanes weighing up to 4,500g (159oz) and sports aerobatic models up to 3,000g (106oz) The unique design of these motors gives extremely high torque levels to turn large diameter and high pitch propellers with excellent efficiency.
The 4120/14 is a great option for converting the Chris Foss Wot 4 to electric power, with a 4s LiPo (Approx. 3,700mAh) and a 13"x8" APC Thin Electric Propeller.
AXi brushless motors with neodymium magnets and a rotating case are manufactured in the Czech Republic using the latest technology and quality materials. The hardened steel shaft supported by three ball bearings, and overall robust yet lightweight construction, ensure a long service life.
AXi motors are designed such that the prop is normally mounted on the shaft (Using a prop adaptor), but a radial mount set is available separately, to allow the motor to be mounted directly onto the firewall as is often the case with glow to electric conversions. This optional radial mount set includes the mounting flange, propeller driver, a securing collar and screws.
