These very efficient brushless motors with neodymium magnets and a rotating case are manufactured using the latest technology from the finest quality materials. The hardened steel 8mm shaft is supported by three ball bearings, and the overall robust construction ensures a long service life.
The high torque characteristics of the AXi 5330/24 allow large propellers to be spun with a high level of efficiency, without using a gearbox.
These motors are suitable for large sailplanes weighing up to 16000g (564.4 oz) and sports aerobatic models up to 6000g (211.6 oz).
The 5330/24 is also suitable for Trainer type models and Vintage or slow flying models up to 8500g (299.8oz) and will even power the 12' Telemaster. The lack of gearbox noise makes the motor very suitable for large scale R/C models.
AXi 53xx series motors offer front and reverse (radial) mounting options and prop adaptors for both options are included with the motor.
