Multiplex MULTIcont X-16 Brushed Controller

The MULTIcont X-16 is a speed controller for brushed motors, such as the Permax 400 6-volt motor that comes with the Multiplex EasyStar.

The Multiplex MULTIcont X-16 brushed speed controller is compatible with 6-8 NiCd or NiMH cell batteries or 2-cell/7.4V Li-Po batteries.

The X-16 has a 5V BEC rated at up to 1A and is thus well suited for operation as a brushed controller for the Multiplex EasyStar with its simple two-servo setup.

Conveniently, the MULTIcont X-16 is fitted with a Multiplex M6 plug and the two motor wires are pre-tinned. The unit measures approximately 37×24x9mm and weighs 27g/0.59oz including wires.

The maximum current supported by the Multiplex MULTIcont X-16 brushed speed controller is 16 amps.
