Planetary Gearbox PG 3

This Planetary Gearbox (PG 3) has a gear ratio of 3.1:1

Precise low friction planetary gearboxes (PG) are designed especially for AXI 22xx brushless motors with a 3.17mm shaft.

The PG 3 together with motors from the AXI 22xx series create a compact and powerful power system suitable especially for models with a narrow fuselage.

These gearboxes are designed and manufactured using CAD/CAM technology to guarantee maximum accuracy and best performance. The main gearbox body and planet gear carrier are machined from hardened aluminum and are eloxal coated.

An accurate gear ring made of bronze is pressed into the main gearbox body. The pinion and planet gear are machined from steel. The 4mm hardened steel output shaft is mounted in two large ball bearings which provide high load and long service life.

PG 3 gearboxes are suitable for power of up to 350W. The gearbox with an AXI 22xx series motor can be mounted directly to a bulkhead using the threaded holes at the front of the gearbox.
