The Jeti Duplex R8 2.4GHz receiver is an 8-channel receiver for medium and large-sized models offering real time feedback of system voltage and connection of Duplex telemetric sensors.
All Jeti Duplex receivers transmit the system voltage for monitoring via the Jeti Box either during flight or on the ground. Each receiver also features a separate JR/Universal socket to which any of the Jeti telemetry sensors can be connected.
Any channel can be assigned to the output pins via the
Jeti Box and as standard with all Duplex receivers, each channel can be programmed to perform servo-slowing, end-point adjustment, gain adjustment and A/B reversing. This is particularly useful where these features are not available with your transmitter and means the Duplex receivers offer great value for money.
The R8 is compatible with all Jeti Duplex sensors and the
Ext. socket allows direct connection with a sensor, such as the excellent
MUI 75 which amongst other things, allows monitoring of your flight pack voltage AND your current-draw during flight.
Note that although Duplex receivers support an input voltage of 3.2-8.4V, this voltage is not regulated. If you are using a speed-controller with built-in BEC, this is not a problem, however if you are using a separate power-supply for your receiver and servos, please ensure that the input voltage to the R8 is appropriate for your servos.
The R8 requires a
Duplex Transmitter Module.
All Duplex receivers support a
Clone mode, which can be programmed from the Jeti Box. Cloning allows a redundant receiver to be configured in your models and is particularly powerful when used in tandem with the
Enlink 2RS intelligent switch, which provides redundant signals and power-supply to the attached servos.
Cloning can also be used to add more channels to your model. This is achieved by having a receiver in Normal mode and another receiver in clone mode. The receiver operating in clone mode should have its output pins programmed such that they are staggered across the input channels, i.e. Output pin 1 should be mapped to input channel <n>+1, where <n> is the number of channels of the receiver operating in normal mode. The receiver operating in clone mode need not have the same number of channels as the receiver operating in normal mode. For example the R8 could be used with an R6 to provide a total of 14 channels.
The R8 comes complete with Bind Plug. The binding process for Duplex receivers is very simple: -
– Insert the bind plug into the
Ext. socket of the receiver
– Switch on the receiver or connect your Rx battery
– Switch on the Transmitter
– Binding will be confirmed by a short beep (low-tone following by high-tone)
With 24-month warranty.
