The Jazz 2.0 is the successor to the highly-successful Jazz, designed ultimately for indoor aero-musical flying on small, light-weight brushless motors such as the AXi 2203 series from Model Motors. The Jazz is capable of a wide schedule of aerobatics and features a very neat printed design with bright colours as shown.
Construction is from pre-printed Depron foam with carbon-fibre reinforcements and an EPP nose area, keeping the weight to an absolute minimum whilst maintaining high rigidity and robustness to cope with the inevitable indoor knocks. The EPP nose provides a solid yet shock-absorbing motor mount for the Jazz, so flying into a wall isnt going to destroy the front of the model.
The Jazz colour scheme is exactly as shown in the pictures, with the Depron components arriving pre-printed to a superb standard as shown.
We recommend a 2-cell Li-Poly battery of approximately 300-480mAh and the AXi 2203/46 motor with an 8"x4.3" propeller – this setup offers superb burst power. The Jeti Advance 8 Pro provides smooth throttle response and ultimate reliability for indoor flying. Some flyers prefer the AXi 2203/RACE with the same propeller, for quite a crazy turn of speed!
Use UHU Por for all joints (Or foam-safe CA if you prefer it). UHU Por is best for mating the EPP motor-mount components with the Depron fuselage because foam-safe cyano does not usually provide a strong bond with EPP. Our choice is to use UHU Por.
