Aeronaut Self-tightening Props for Copters

These carbon fibre reinforced nylon propellers from Germany are available in clockwise and anti-clockwise versions, and feature a press-fitted metal threaded insert. This allows the props to be screwed directly onto electric motors with threaded shafts, and require no further retention. The metal caps have a 4mm bore, allowing the propellers to be dynamically balanced before use. Various sizes are available to suit DJI Phantom 2/3 (9-10 inches) and Yuneec Q500 (13×5 inches).

All of these propellers are intended for electric motors, and have been developed to provide excellent thrust even at low RPM. This is achieved by using a thin blade section with wide chord. The Aero-Naut CAMcarbon "Light" series are light, strong and torsionally rigid carbon-reinforced propellers. They are an excellent choice for multirotor platforms and fixed-wing aircraft alike. All are available in CW and CCW.

These propellers were developed using a CAD system in order to ensure accurate blending of blade pitch and airfoil. The blade shape is identical to that of our proven Cam-Carbon folding propellers, but the hubs are smaller and therefore lighter. The moulds – produced using CNC machines – and the carbon fibre reinforced propellers themselves are manufactured exclusively in Germany.
