First released early in 2017, the Armattan Chameleon frame is surely one of the most popular and best freestyle quadcopter frames on the market. Developed and designed with a great love and skill by Armattan Quads themselves; every single feature has been carefully considered and incorporated into the final revision. The low-rider style of frame keeps your battery closer to the centre-of-mass, for snappier rolls and less inertia during violent manoeuvres. That camera cage is there to keep your FPV camera in good working order and the rear vtx mount is there to provide a solid point for mounting your SMA adaptor but also has a few notches designed to make accessing those dip switches a bit easier.
The Chameleon doesn' really need an introduction but we had to write one! This lovingly crafted freestyle bus is available in orange and silver and two different arm sizes to suit 5" or 6" propellers. If you love big props, you will love the extra smooth and precise power delivery through the Chameleon and the protection and peace of mind that comes from flying an Armattan frame.
Most awesome features of the Chameleon
That camera cage! Not only have Armattan used 4mm thick aircraft grade aluminium to protect your fpv cam but this cage allows almost unlimited adjustment so you can get that angle just right. Top top it off there is a nice easy screw system to enable very simple adjustments while at the field. On top of this (literally), the HD cam plate allows you to adjust your recording camera angle from 30 up to 60° Secondly – that camera cage combined with the low-rider design of this freestyle frame means your battery gets a little more protection in the event of an upside-down arrival!

Chameleon 5" versus 6"
We leave that decision to you. Most people who buy the Chameleon in the UK do opt for the 5" version. If cruising is your thing, it is usually possible to eek a bit more efficiency out of 6" props, in which case we would go for the Chameleon 6.
Chameleon orange versus silver
The Chameleon frame kit includes all carbon-fibre and aluminium parts and screws for the frame and camera cage along with pads for lipo top plate and hd cam.
