The new bigger Crack Yak is finally here with a fresh new design inside and out! This version has a wingspan just over 39" with tapered wing tips, improved SFG placement and an added T-canalizer on top of the fuselage. The original Crack Yak was our go-to rc foamy but here we have something with more presence and an airfoiled wing, with better wind handling, a more intense flight envelope and to top it off, RC Factory have simplified and improved the build even more to make it simpler and give a cleaner look to the finished aeroplane.
All the hardware to build your Crack Yak is included – you just need to add your chosen power train, battery, receiver and servos. The AuW is about 350-400g depending on the gear you fit – as with all the Twisted/RCF models, anything in the 100-200W range is going to do fine, so you can make a really floaty setup or go ballistic.
As before, use normal CA or UHU Por for construction.
Do not use foam-safe. Undercarriage is included.
Recommended Li-Po 3s 600-1200mAh.

The best Twisted Hobbys 39" yet?
Highly recommended. The best Twisted Hobbys 39" yet?
I found this was a very easy build. At the Twisted Hobbys website are links to the instructions and RC Groups thread with more hints and tips. Me being me, I made quite a few changes to the build. Most are unnecessary but I would recommend considering getting some adjustable link stoppers rather than having zero adjustments to the control rod lengths.
It flies very nicely indeed. It holds harriers more easily than my 39" Sbach and can be floaty or wild. Being 39", it obviously has a more stability in wind than smaller models and a bit more of a balsa feel. I'd say this makes it an excellent 3D trainer that will grow with you.
If you wanna do 3D buy this !
Had a few 3D models but this is the real deal!
First Twisted Hobbys model, I will be buying others as this model is AWESOME!!!
It's mind blowing good. Very well designed and easy to build. Light weight and very and I mean very aerobatic
Everyone should have one of these in their car boot!
