Eight-cell A123 battery packs with a nominal voltage of 26.4V. All of our A123 packs are produced by using genuine A123 cells from A123 Systems.
When charging A123 battery packs comprised of eight cells in series (8s) do not charge above 28.8V.
When using 8s A123 packs in your flying RC model, do not discharge below 20.0V, this will ensure a long service life for your pack. 2.0V per cell is within spec and will not damage the cells.
For charging 8-cell A123 battery packs, we recommend the Graupner Ultra Duo Plus 40.
Remember, not all LiFePO4 battery packs are the same, all of our packs use genuine A123 Systems LiFePO4 cells, with a nominal voltage of 3.3V.
