The AXi 2814/16 Gold Line brushless outrunner motor with rotating drum and high power magnets is suitable for models of light-weight sailplanes up to 1800g (63.5oz.) and trainers up to 2000g (70.5oz.) in weight.
Due to its high torque this motor is capable of turning large propellers with a high level of efficiency and without the need for a gearbox.
These motors are designed such that the prop is mounted on the shaft, but a radial mount set is available as an option, to allow the motor to be mounted directly onto the firewall. This optional radial mount set includes: mounting flange, propeller adaptor, a securing collar and screws.

very powerfull motor !!
it work on a ultimate ep "world model"
flying weight with lipo is 1004g
in first time i test with 10x5 , not very efficient , fly well but not very powerfull , long time flying
after with 10x6 , good power , unlimited vertical , 10-12 min of fly with FP lite 3S 2550
i test with 11x5 , very very powerfull
i use JXF wood prop
i recently buy 2 other axi 2814/16 , for my "black horse" Mosquito
config is:
2x axi 2814/16
2x jeti opto 40A
1x axi Ubec
lipo FP lite 3S-5400 for power
lipo FP rx 2S 1800 or 2100 for bec , in 5.4v 5/10A

ce moteur fonctionne a merveille sur l ultimate ep de world model
1004g en vol avec lipo , la 10x6 JXF donne de tres bonnes perf , montee verticale sans limite 10-12 min de vol avec FP lite 3S2550
la 10x5 ne donne pas une grosse puissance mais sa vol bien et longtemps
un test avec la 11x5 , une furie !!
en vol stationnaire , un coup de gaz a fond et le biplan grimpe tres vite et tres haut !!
j ai recement commandé 2 autre moteurs , pour le mosquito de chez black horse , avec contro jeti opto 40A , bec externe jeti 5/10A en 5.4v , lipo FT lite 3S-5400mA
je prevois d utiliser des 10x7
vivement son premier vol !!
