The AXi 5320/18 Gold Line brushless outrunner motor is a very powerful motor designed specifically for operation on high-current 6s lipo batteries from 4000-5500mah, significantly reducing the cost of electric setups for 1.20 size aerobatic glow conversions. Power systems with this motor have been used very successfully by Gernot Bruckmann in the SebArt Katana S120E and SebArt Sukhoi S140E.

The hardened steel 8mm shaft is supported by three ball bearings, and the overall robust construction ensures a long service life. Due to its high torque characteristics this motor is capable of turning large propellers with a high level of efficiency and without requiring a gearbox.

The AXI 5320/18 Gold Line brushless outrunner together with a 6s lipo is capable of reaching currents up to 80A and is suitable for 3D models weighing up to 4300g and sports aerobatic models up to 5500g. Since these motors do not require a gearbox, the resulting lack of noise makes them very suitable for scale models.

The AXI 5320/18 offers front and reverse (radial) mounting options. Two prop adapters for both mounting options are included with the motor.

Donatas Pauzolis won the F6A category in the world air games, Torino 2009, with a 78" Extra. The setup was the AXi 5320/18 Gold, APC 20×8 Thin Electric propeller, 90A ESC and 6s LiPo Battery of 4400mAh. Total weight 4950g. Watch the video to see this setup in action!

The 5320/18 has also been used very successfully in the Krill Thunder 3D. For a hotter setup, the 5325/16 with a 22"x10" on 6s is also suitable – with careful throttle management! The 5325 weighs an extra 80g.

5/5 - Excellent Motor on 6S!!
By Amjoo
This motor is in my Katana 75" running a 19x10 prop on 6S li-po. Excellent power and with this setup the plane weighs 9 pounds. on the ground, it pulls 76 amps at max throttle.

4/5 - review of axi 5320 motor
By PJ
quite alright as i am using 6cell 5000mah thunder tiger pack and a jeti 6 cell speed controller 70amps. prop of 18x8 at the time of writng. i am planning on an 18x10 or 18 x 12. the plane i am using it on is the fliton 90 inspire.

other controllers seem to have jittering at the start up.hence i would recommend the jeti.
