Gym Star Indoor EPP Trainer - Red

The Gym Star is an indoor EPP 3D/Aerobatic trainer produced from EPP. This indoor radio controlled model offers excellent control authority but is also very stable for beginners to indoor flying. Being made from EPP it can handle the inevitable knocks from your first foray into indoor flying. This is the Red version of the Gym Star.

The Gym Star is quite straightforward to build and instructions are available (See link below). We do recommend the read through the instructions before you commence the build. Please note the cross mount for the motor is no longer included.

Servo recommendations: -

• 4 x Hitec HS-35 Servo (One for every surface)
• 1 × 9g for ailerons and 2 × 5g for rudder and elevator (e.g. Gening D90 and 2 x Gening D561)

Power recommendations: -

• Our recommended power set uses the AXi 2203/46 with a 2s 450mAh lithium polymer battery, 8A ESC and 8×4.3 "Slow Fly" propeller. Aim for 40-60W of power. Keeping it light means you will carry less momentum into the wall and overhead obstructions!

Construction notes: -

• Use UHU Por throughout. Foam-safe CA is not required. Normal Medium CA can be used for better joints between carbon and foam or fibreglass and foam.
