The upgraded D100 from SkyRC is a dual-output battery balance charger which can be powered from a leisure battery or your mains (UK plug included). This is a compact lithium-compatible charger which supports 1-6s LiPo batteries as well as LiFe, LiHV NiMH, NiCd packs and the newer Li-Po HV standard. Version 2 of the hardware brings various new features such as voice guidance and the ability to act as a power supply for other DC powered devices. Scan to go is another new feature which through the optional smartphone application, allows you to create a QR code which you can print and attach to your batteries for fast parameter setting.
This is a superb all-round charger and with an integrated power-supply allowing it to be powered from the mains – it provides a great deal of flexibility, so you can use it in your workshop or while out at the field. You can charge a 3s at about 7.5A so this is a great unit for parallel charging small packs pretty fast.
The D100 supports a feature called power distribution, so for example, one output can be consuming 70W for charging the other can use the remaining 30W of power for charging another battery. The maximum power available for each output can be specified in the menu. Total output power is 100W when powered from the mains, or 200W (100W per channel) when powered from a DC power source (11-18V DC).
