This "long" version of the AXi 2212/20 v2 is designed for installation in small powered gliders (up to 800g on 2s) and hotliners (up to 650g on 3s) on 2s and 3s lipo batteries, where space in the nose of the model may be limited, which can present difficulties when mounting a traditional outrunner motor.

"Long" AXi motors do not include the radial mount set or prop adaptors, unlike their traditional v2 counterparts.
