A very hot wind, for powered radio-controlled gliders up to about 2.5kg AuW. The 2826/6 is currently the hottest wind in this series of motors from the Gold Line and this long version is particularly suited to the task at hand. Mounting motors in gliders can often be fraught with compromise – no longer! This long motor has an integrated cooling fan and a narrow front to assist with mounting. It is not designed for radial mounting and does not include any prop mounting hardware as it is expected a folding propeller arrangement will be mounted on the 5mm shaft.

Use the 2826/6 v2 Long in powered gliders up to 2200g on 2s with 12×8 propellers, or in gliders up to 2500g on 3s with 10×6 propellers. A 60-70A ESC is recommended in either case.
