Go insane! From the realm of ‘flies like balsa, costs and repairs like foam’ arrives a new plane, the Edge 540 v3 XL from Twisted Hobbys and RC Factory. Please choose either the original green or the new orange colour scheme before adding this plane to your shopping basket.

Loosely based on the full size Edge, the unmatched Red Bull Air Race™ competitor, the designers goal was to make something that flies at least as good as the legendary Cody Wojcik Veloxity while having somewhat different looks. You be the judge how well RC Factory have managed to achieve this goal!

The early testers' response was extremely encouraging: Jan Votava, junior European F3A champion and world vice-champion, who was originally quite skeptical about this size of model, admitted that he never expected anything like it – yet now he is jumping up and down with excitement. "Everybody is going to love this" was his verdict, just as he never bothered with 3s and loaded the plane with his 1500 mAh, 4s copter battery pack rated at 95C. "The plane goes ballistic and there is nothing it cannot do", says Votava.

Insane roll rate, great linear response to all controls, whip-like snap rolls, very steady hover, smooth performance on low rates but total madness on high ones. If you are looking for an insane piece of equipment to wow your friends, look no further.
