The HS-225MG is an analog servo with metal gears, offering performance to rival other more expensive servos and ideally suited to models requiring a small, light-weight but high speed and high-torque servo (4.8 kg·cm at 6.0V or 3.9 kg·cm at 4.8V). The HS-225 MG and BB servos feature a top ball-bearing and are built with modern SMT technology.
This is a great servo for larger electric aerobatic and 3D models around 2kg/55", with one servo per aileron or slower flying model aeroplanes up to 4.5kg (10lbs).
The 225 arrives with a circular servo-arm already fitted, but four additional servo arms are included in the box as well as four mounting screws and rubber seatings.
Approximate cable length: 300mm.
For full servo specifications, please refer to the specification tab above. A list of similar servos is also shown, where available, and is based on torque values only. All of our servos include standard manufacturers fittings.
Please note, as we buy our servos in bulk, many of the analogue Hitec servos are shipped to us packed like this, individual servos may therefore arrive loose-packed. Please do not grab and rotate servo arms by hand – this is not good for the gears and with todays light-weight servos can easily strip gears. A servo tester is a worthwhile investment.

Four of these are fitted in my NPM Extra 330S and seem very powerful. I only do a little 3D flying but the centering is perfect and there is no jittering.
All the bits and bobs are in the box (apart from servo extensions!)

I have 6 of them but one lost his centerpoint.
Great servo and strong also.
