These new 2220/xx motors from the AXi v2 Long line-up have been developed to satisfy the power requirements of electric powered RC gliders with particularly constraining mounting requirements. 2220 motors are the longest offering currently available in the 22xx range, made to produce the maximum torque in the smallest space!

Use the 2220/12 in gliders up to a maximum of 1200g on 2s with 13×6.5 propellers with a 30A ESC.

Please note that these long motors are not designed for radial mounting. They are designed to be front mounted. Various folding propeller setups are available separately and can usually be mounted directly onto the 4mm shaft.
