AXi 2220/12 Cyclone

A new size in the AXi line-up from Model Motors are these new 2220/xx series, sitting somewhere between the existing 2217/xx and 2808/xx motors. This range is slightly longer than the 2217 and offers a nice compact solution with integrated ESC connectors on the rear of the motor. This particular RPM/V of 1200kv makes the 2220/12 well suited to powered gliders on 2s with propellers up to 13×6.5 and an AuW around 1200g but can also be used in fast aerobatic models on 3s with 7×7 propellers.

The advantages of AXi Cyclone motors are their low installation profile, coupled with integrated ESC connectors, triple ball bearings and especially the fact that they need no special tools for servicing.

Please note these motors are designed for front mounting and do not include a radial mounting kit or prop adaptor. The shaft is 4mm which is compatible with our Aeronaut cool nose and precision spinners.
