AXi 5330/18 v2

The latest AXi 5530/18 v2 "gold line" brushless outrunner motors with neodymium magnets and a rotating case are manufactured using the latest technology from fine quality materials. in Czech Republic. These v2 motors continue Model Motors long tradition of producing some of the best brushless motors in the world. The hardened 8mm steel shaft is supported by three ball bearings and the overall robust construction ensures an excellent service life.

The AXi 5330/18 is suitable for large sailplanes weighing up to 16,000g (564.4 oz) and sports/aerobatic models up to 6,500g (229.3 oz) and 3D models up to 5.5kg (194oz). Due to its high torque characteristics the AXi 5330/18 is capable of turning large propellers with a high level of efficiency and with no need for a gearbox.

The 5330/18 has been used in F3A competition aerobatics with great success and is also a popular motor for warbirds up to about 72" wingspan (6-7kg or approximately 211-247oz)

Front and reverse (radial) mounting options are supported, and 12mm prop adapters for both mounting options are included with the motor. Please refer to the diagram in the photos for specific measurements of the 5330/xx motors.
