ZTW Gecko Series ESCs

The Gecko line-up from ZTW has been developed for reliability, high-performance and smooth operation. The stand out features of this group of electronic speed controllers are the tough aluminium case (which aids cooling), the programming and firmware upgrade possibilities, integrated data recording, protection features and smooth throttle response.

These controllers offer a number of useful features, although the default settings are usually perfectly adequate for most model aeroplanes. The default settings are listed below: -

• Brake Type: Off
• Battery Type: LiPo with automatic cell count detection
• LVC cut-off: 3.0V/cell
• LVC type: Reduce power
• Motor timing: Automatic
• SBEC voltage output: 5.0V (Only for ESCs that are not opto)
• Governor Mode: RPM OFF
• Motor direction: Forward
• Start-up power: 30%
