New "Long" AXi v2 motors have been designed specifically for front mounting in powered gliders where the available space in the nose of the model may be too tight for the installation of a traditional outrunner. These elongated versions of 2814/xx series arrive without the radial mounting kit but otherwise offer the same advantage of other AXi v2 motors such as improved cooling, better efficiency and more accurate balancing.

Use the 2814/10 long version in hotliners up to 1200g/42.3oz on 2s with 9×6 propellers or up powered gliders up to 1500g/52.9oz also on 2s with 10×6 propellers.
