AXi 2217/16 F5J

These new brushless outrunners from Model Motors have been designed specifically for F5J electric thermal gliders with a toughened 4mm shaft and the same robust construction and efficient design as all new AXi v2 motors. The overall dimensions are the same as the "v2 long" motors but the F5J motor has the 4mm shaft for extra strength over the standard 3.17mm shaft.

The 2217/16 F5J is intended for use on 2s or 3s Li-Po batteries. Use this motor in electric powered gliders up to approximately 950g (Approx 33.5oz) on 3s with 10×5 propellers and at least an 18A ESC. The 2217/16 can also be used on 2s in gliders up to 900g with 12×6 propellers.

The mounting pattern is the typical 16/19mm and requires M3 screws.
