The 2217/20 Cyclone is the latest version of the original high-torque 20-wind brushless outrunner to adopt the Cyclone inrunner/outrunner hybrid design. These motors have integrated cooling fan, ultra smooth bearings and 4mm hardened steel shaft. The icing on the cake is the integrated ESC connectors on the rear of the motor, resulting in very simple installation and easy servicing.

The 2217/20 is one of the highest torque motors in the 2217 series, allowing a large propeller to be turned with great efficiency. The 2217/20 is therefore especially suitable for electric powered gliders up to 1100g on 3s with 12×6 propellers. We recommend a 30 amp ESC be used along with a folding propeller of suitable diameter for your model.
