AXi 2217/12 Cyclone

The new AXi Cyclone 2217/12 motor is a brushless inrunner/outrunner hybrid designed for gliders and hotliners. It is a 1380kv motor with a 4mm shaft and integrated ESC connectors on the rear of the motor, so you will have none of the usual headaches routing motor wires over a spinning outrunner case! Matching connectors for your ESC are included with the motor.

Being one of the hottest winds in the 2217 series, this Cyclone version offers plenty of power for small hotliners up to 800 grams on 3s with 9×6 propellers or gliders up to 1200g with 9.5×5 propellers. For more aerobatic gliders up to 1000g, you can use 3s with a 9×4.5 propeller. In all cases, use a minimum of a 30 amp ESC.

The hardened steel shaft of this motor is 4mm.

This is the same as the AXI Cyclone 480/1380 sold in the US.
