New AXi ‘Cyclone’ motors for radio controlled model aircraft are a brand new light-weight inrunner/outrunner hybrid brushless electric motor with triple ball-bearing, aluminium cooling fan and hardened steel shaft. These motors are built in the same factory as the AXi Gold Line series and come from a long line of quality motors. The advantages of the Cyclone design stem from the quality construction: these motors employ best quality components and computer balancing with easy servicing and installation. Because Cyclone motors have no external moving parts (except the output shaft!) they are much easier to install in powered gliders, warm/hotliners or tight spaces where a traditional outrunner can cause headaches during the setup phase. Each of the 28xx and 22xx size motors below has 4mm rear-mounted gold bullet connectors for connecting to your ESC.
